Wordless Wednesday

Frisbee Lessons

Not-so-wordless note:

I snapped this picture last week and love it for a couple reasons:

1. Both kids were incredibly serious about these frisbee lessons. C.(12) was determined to impart his frisbee wisdom to his little brother and L. (4) was intent on completing the ‘drills’ and advancing to the next ‘level’ of lessons.

2. Anytime the kids are playing happily together, with absolutely no fighting or yelling, is a good moment to capture.

3. Do you see that sunshine? Yeah, haven’t seen that in a while. Much of the last week or so has been gray, dreary, and rainy. And the weatherman tells me that today holds more of the same. Hoping the sun decides to visit again soon, because I sure could use some happy weather.

Non-wordless note:

This is how I know that I need to stop trying to get “just the right picture” for our Christmas card. C(11) told me his smiling muscles were worn out. L(3) just scowled at me. Needless to say, I put the camera away.
