About

Hi.

So, you clicked the “About” button because you wanted to learn more about me?

Rats. See, I’m not very good at this introduction stuff. Whenever I’m in a group setting, and we all have to go around and “share something interesting” about ourselves, I cringe. I have no clue what to say. And I’m pretty sure that whatever I end up sharing won’t be very interesting to anyone.

But since you clicked “About,” I guess I’ll have to come up with something. Let’s see…

My name is Katrina. I’m married to Chad. We have two sons: C. (13) and L. (6).

I’ve been blogging since the spring of 2006, and while I started this blog as a bit of a whim, it stuck. And here I am, years later, still blogging.

I blog about any random thing that pops into my head, but when you stop by, you’ll most likely find posts about parenting, family, books & reading, or faith. I also occasionally ramble on about crafts or games. And baking. And also friendship.

When it comes to a blogging “theme”? I don’t necessarily have one. Unless by theme, you mean stuff that I think about. In which case, yes, “stuff I think about” would be my theme.

I host reading challenges here twice a year — once in the fall and once in the spring. If you like to read, and like to find out what other people are reading, I hope you’ll join us for the next one!

That about covers it. But if you are interested in learning more random facts about the force behind Callapidder Days, check out these posts:
