Fall Into Reading 2009

Who: You, me, and readers all around the blogosphere

What: Fun, low-pressure reading challenge

When: September 22, 2009 - December 20, 2009

Where: Here. And on your blog. And on all the other participants’ blogs, too.

Why: Because reading rocks. And we can all enjoy a little community and accountability every now and then.

How: Watch for more details next week. But if you want to get a head-start, begin making a list of books you want to read (and/or finish) this fall. And get ready to share that list with all of us.

Want a button for your sidebar? Here you go!

I want to do this. I’ve added virtual bookshelf to my fb page, I’ve put some good holds in at the library, and I have books I haven’t finished. So what if I just switched grade levels and I’m so exhausted each night I sigh as I sink into the couch? I can still read!

Looking forward to more details…

Yes!!!! I have already started plotting my list. Maybe I’ll get it organized before the last day of summer so I don’t leave any books off my list.

Okay, okay, you can stop laughing now.

I’ve always loved your reading challenges (visiting participating blogs and seeing what everyone is reading) but I’ve never actually joined in… until now :) This month as I started to read more, I remembered your posts about this and came over to see if you were doing a Fall in to Reading 09, and yay, I was not disappointed. I’ve already started reading more and am making a list of books I hope to get through.

This looks like fun! I never finished the Spring challenge, because of a death in the family, but this looks like a good way to motivate myself to get through that TBR pile. :-)
