Buy a coffee-type beverage, and get a free pastry.
Go before 10:30 a.m. Oh, and if the pastries are gone, you’re out of luck.
We’ll be there early.

I’m hoping to be there at 9. That’s early for us, but not for most. Here’s hoping there’s a pastry still available, but if not, I’ll enjoy my coffee just the same!

Hmmm–Missed out, because I just read this today. Looked at some of the comments over on the Starbucks site and it seems that others who were THERE missed out too.
Did you get lucky? And are they any good?
I know that they had to eliminate transfats by law here in the NY area a while ago, and the pastries went down in quality. Some of them are better now.

I hope you got a free pastry! The Starbucks nearest to where we live is a half hour away, so I wouldn’t have been able to make it anyway.
