This post is where you can submit links to any book reviews you do for the books you’re reading as part of Spring Reading Thing 2009. A few guidelines:
1. This is only for Spring Reading Thing 2009 participants. If you haven’t signed up yet, please go HERE to find out what it’s all about, create your own Spring Reading Thing blog post, and sign up for the fun.
2. Please link to the specific post that contains your review — not your general blog web address. Links to a general blog address / blog front page will be deleted.
3. Please limit your entries to books you’ve read this spring and have included on your Spring Reading Thing post.
4. Please keep your reviews family-friendly. I realize some books may have some touchy or difficult subjects, but please keep your reviews “clean.”
5. This is completely voluntary! You are in no way required to do reviews of your books or to link them up here. (I, for one, am absolutely horrible about writing reviews!) This is just a convenient place to gather reviews, so that all those interested can check them out.
6. I think the best way to do this is to put the book name and your name in the “name” section of the Mr. Linky: something like “Pride & Prejudice (Katrina)”. Of course, you can do it however you want, but that will make it easy for people to decide which reviews they want to read.
While I’m sure it won’t be necessary, I reserve the right to delete links that don’t adhere to these little “rules.”
Thanks, everyone! I look forward to seeing the reviews! (Oh, and if you read through all the reviews submitted by SRT participants and still want more, check out two other great sites for book reviews: 5 Minutes for Books and Paperback Frenzy.)

I posted my review of Get Outta My Face. I actually started and finished it just before the challenge started. We were driving to Florida and I needed something to do so I picked this one up early. Now to the other 17 on my list.
Thanks for doing this, it is a lot of fun to read the reviews and see what other people are reading.
Thank you for the warm welcome to your challenge.
This is so awesome!!! Thanks for the fun!
So far so good, one book down, 7 more on my list to go!
Ok, I’m very silly. I just finished Twilight and New Moon by Stephanie Meyer. I read Twilight over a 48 hour period, but I read New Moon (which will be my next book review!) over a 6 hour period. Last night.
I’m really enjoying this “challenge”, although, challenge isn’t quite the right word! It’s super fun!
I am really enjoying the spring reading thing!!!!!! I also really like the reviews-I’m getting a lot of super ideas!!! Thank you!!
I just want to plug The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns-both by Khaled Hosseini. Oh my goodness they are book excellent reads!! By far the best 2 books I’ve read in 2009. They will not disappoint!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im loving the Spring Reading Thing. I am having so much fun and my 15-year-old daughter is having fun reading my reviews and deciding which ones she would like to read which is great cause usually she wont touch a book that I have suggest or read first
Thanks for getting us both involved. She is “too old to be read to” but not too old to discuss books with and this has been perfect.
Hi!
I have posted my latest review for this challenge. This is also my last book for the Spring Thing Reading Challenge. Thanks for hosting this. I had lots of fun reading the books I picked. Have a great day!!
Sherrie
P.S. I will posting a wrap up of this reading challenge when it gets closer to the end date of the challenge. Hope that’s OK.
Just posted my last review for the Spring Reading Thing. I feel so accomplished, especially since I only read one of my books last year. Off to post my wrap-up.
If I wind up as a duplicate at 415 with Slay it with Flowers, feel free to delete the one where I misspelled it Slat it with Flowers. (Not even sure if you can do that. Don’t know how Mr. Linky works.)
I know I’m getting a little ahead of myself here, but I’ve just posted my wrap-up for the Spring Reading Thing, although I’ll still be posting all the reviews for a few more days. I really enjoyed this and all the books I’ve read, but as usual I’m a little slow getting everything done! Anyway, my wrap-up post is here:
