Bonus book giveaway this week! I have one copy of Me, Myself, & I AM to give away to one of my readers.
From the publisher:
A new experience of God comes one question at a time in this fun and provocative journal. Made up entirely of insightful, profound, and occasionally ridiculous questions, Me, Myself, and I AM invites you to open to any page, open yourself to God, and be the author of your own story.
Me, Myself, and I AM will entertain, inspire, and get you thinking about your spiritual life from brand new angles. Whether you use Me, Myself, and I AM as a reflective tool, a way to start conversations with friends and family, or as a spiritual time capsule to look back on years later, their own words will create a powerful journey of self-discovery.
My thoughts:
This is a cute little journal full of questions to get you thinking about your spiritual walk — how you got to where you are, where you are now, and where you’re going. Questions of all kinds cover every page — fill-in-the-blanks, multiple choice, short answer, etc. Some of the questions are, indeed, silly. And some will make you think long and hard before you answer. But all of them combine, creating a useful tool to take a snapshot of your heart and your walk with God.
Some sample questions:
On a cross-country flight, I discover I’m seated next to a famous atheist. He asks me to explain to him why I am a Christian and what it feels like day to day. Here is what I say:
Three things I do currently that I am not proud of:
The three books (other than the Bible) that have influenced my spiritual life the most:
If you like journaling, but sometimes need a prompt to get you going; if you enjoy a little bit of self-analysis; of if you’re looking for a creative way to write about your faith journey, Me, Myself, & I AM is for you. In reading the book, it also occurred to me that filling out the journal could be a neat way to leave a legacy to your kids — a bit of a spiritual autobiography.
To enter the drawing for this book, just leave a comment on this post, making sure that you include an easy way for me to contact you. I’ll choose a winner Monday night (November 10th) and announce the winner on my blog Tuesday morning. U.S. & Canada mailing addresses only, please.

Oh, please pick me. I have been trying desperately to get back to journaling, which I used to do religiously until I had 8 kids. Now my youngest is 3, and I think that this would be just the thing to motivate me back into the habit. What a great idea! Thank you for your continued generosity with these great giveaways!
Sounds pretty interesting. I’d love to be thrown into the hat for this one.
I’d love this!
