I suspect that there are a few relatives people who check this blog primarily to see if there are any new pictures of the boys. So since it’s been a while since I posted any, I thought I’d put up a few, along with the kids’ current adventures.

C. has recently lost a top tooth. This particular tooth was loose for.ev.er., but he refused to pull it out. In fact, he told us yesterday that he was still able to eat normally while the tooth was hanging on by a thread, but that he had to “fold up his tooth” so that he could take bites more easily. I have “tooth issues,” and just hearing that he was “folding up” a tooth gave me the heebie-jeebies. But at last, the tooth is out. C. has also decided that the Tooth Fairy (who, for the record, he doesn’t believe in) is just not worth it. He’d rather keep his teeth than get the mere 50 cents that the Fairy doles out. I suppose I don’t have a problem with that – in theory. But I now fear that I will one day be cleaning up some corner of his room and come across a really icky collection of baby teeth. I may have to enforce a “throw away the teeth” policy. Very soon. In other news, he’s looking forward to Christmas break, has been reading biographies on people like Paul Revere and Thomas Edison, and is practicing (somewhat grudgingly, I might add) some Christmas songs on the piano that he will be forced to happily play for relatives in a few weeks.

L. is focusing on his rolling and babbling skills these days. His favorite word is “blah.” As in “blah, blah, blah,” which he says quite regularly. He’s also very close to being able to roll across a room at top speed. The one obstacle in his way is his right arm. He’s figured out how to pull his left arm in when rolling from belly to back, but when he tries to roll the other direction, his right arm just sticks out there and impedes his progress. I’m not complaining – I’m sure it won’t be long before he figures it out and I find him under the Christmas tree, happily slurping on ornaments. In other news, he’s quickly outgrowing the weight limit for his infant carrier / car seat thingy, but shows no signs of incoming teeth (which is just as good because the sooner they come in, the sooner they’ll fall out, and the sooner I’ll have to worry about his collection of baby teeth surprising me during a routine cleaning).
One of my favorite recent pictures. I just love that they love each other so much.

Gosh, you sure turn out adorable little boys. They’re cutie pies, both of ‘em!
And tell L. I understand about that not being able to roll over to the right…I can’t do it either. *g*
You are blessed with such beautiful boys, Katrina. Oh my goodness, look at those beautiful eyes!
I love that front tooth missing. But he’s still just as adorable as can be.
Look at your beautiful boys! They are just so cute!
Perhaps C. needs a babyfood jar to keep his teeth in, high up on a shelf.
C. always looks so bright-eyed and interested in life! I love that he loves L. so much. L. will just love growing up with a big bro who dotes on him. Lucky boys – lucky you! And – I think you out to give C. a treasure box for teeth and such – unless his room is already one big collection spot!
I too have tooth issues, that goodness it does not bother hubby to pull them out. I faint in the back ground.
Totally adorable pictures.
Your boys are adorable! Love the pics.
They are so sweet! I’ve never heard of tooth issues. :vD I’ll take finding the tooth collection over finding the dead bug collection! Now that would be a MAJOR issue! :vD
Your boys are just beautiful. The one of the two of them together just melts my heart.
LOL! My daughter writes little notes asking the Tooth Fairy if she can keep her teeth as well. She has quite the collection now!
Adorable picture
Laura
very sweet indeed!
You should be a proud mama.
Katrina,
Perry’s first tooth fell out in school and the nurse gave him a plastic treasure chest that he now keeps all baby teeth in… and they are so tiny!
I also got the heebie jeebies when you mentioned that he “folded” his tooth to eat!
Your boys are so adorable! I also love the pictures.
What two very precious blessings you have! Enjoy…the time flies by very, very quickly!
Very cute photos!!
Oh how precious!
Great post, great kids, great mom.
I sure am a lucky guy.
My daughter has a trinket box for her teeth that I keep in my jewelry box. She’s six and a half and has never believed in the tooth fairy. Never. My hubby told her to put her teeth under the pillow for the tooth fairy, and she paused, cocked her head to the side, raised an eyebrow, and looked me dead in the eye and asked in obvious disbelief “is that TRUE??”
