Inspired by one of her daughter’s school assignments, Jennifer over at Snapshot has initiated a meme for the kiddos. Here are the answers given by C., age 7:
1. Something I do well
I can draw well.
2. Something I’d like to improve on
To be able to get all my seatwork done in school every day, like I did in first grade.
3. My favorite food
Pizza!
4. Three words that best describe me
Energetic
Imagination
Old
5. My happiest moment
Christmas.
6. The most important thing in my life now
L. – my teeny tiny brother.
7. Then to the moms: Were you surprised by any of the answers?
Well, dragging three words out of him was difficult. He kept saying, “What is one word that means ‘often pretending to be old’?” And when I couldn’t come up with one, he insisted that “Old” should be the final word. Just so you all know – he frequently pretends he’s a 67-year-old grandfather. And he is an old soul…so I let him get away with it.
Also, the fact that he picked Christmas as his happiest moment caught me off guard. He always says that’s his favorite holiday, but his answer here helped me realize just how much he loves Christmas.
“Now tag someone with interesting, hilarious, mysterious or spunky children.”
Okay, I will tag Susanne, Lindsey, and Code Yellow Mom (perhaps this will help ease her blogstipation). As always, if you all don’t have the time or inclination to do the meme, that’s no problem at all!

Great answers! At first I read old as “odd,” and I know he’s unique, but I thought that was a little, well, odd. But a 67 year old grandfather in a 7 year old’s body, that’s just plain old!
Too funny! I had my daughter participate as well and I’ll post as soon as I get my little stinker (9 mth old) to bed.
How cute!
“Old” How funny was that answer. He sounds like he can keep his momma hopping with his imagination! Sweet boy!
I’ll ask my youngest (11 years old) in the morning and then get it up. Thanks for the tag!
Oh! I love it! He pretends to be old? That is too funny!! And how sweet that his brother is the most important thing to him!
I like Christmas too and while I never think of myself as old, on cold days I feel kinda old.
What cute answers! It must be a hoot to watch your little boy pretend to be old.
And thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
