Okay, I know. Most of you all have already started those Reading Challenge books. That’s okay – I have too!
But, today being the first official day of Fall, I just wanted to thank everyone for joining in the challenge and encourage you to spend plenty of time reading and enjoying books this season.
Although the challenge continues to remain open to new participants, I am already a bit amazed by how many people have joined the Fall Into Reading Challenge already. I shouldn’t be so surprised, though. One thing we bloggers share is a love of words. We love to write and share them, and we love to read them.
I’ve been working through the links, reading everyone’s lists, and it’s been so much fun. The variety of books is fantastic, and I think we are all getting ideas for the next list of to-be-read books we’ll be compiling. If I haven’t gotten to your list yet, don’t worry – I’ll be there.
I get a warm, mushy feeling when I think of bloggers everywhere this Fall, cuddled up with a good book and a cup of coffee (or Diet Coke, as the case may be). And I can’t wait to see how everyone does and to read about all the wonderful books that we’ve collectively read.
I won’t take up any more of your time today. I know you have reading to do!

Now I just wish it would begin to FEEL like fall here in Florida.
I thoroughly enjoyed going through all the lists. (I still have some to get too, the links keep growing!) I’ve written down a whole list of books from these that I’d never heard of and put them onto my library list! This was a great idea!
What? TODAY’s the first official day of fall? How’d I miss that one?
I just scrolled down and looked at the linky again. Wow. But really, I’m with you, I’m not all that surprised. This participation is wonderful. What a great, great idea this was. And seeing everybody elses lists is as good as any list of reviews I’ve ever read. Great ideas and my wish list is getting ridiculous at this point.
This really is a terrific idea. I started my first book last night. I love looking at the other lists and getting all sorts of good ideas for more books to read!!
