I thought I heard a roar as I was driving down the road towards Philly Tuesday evening.

You are definitely an amazing mom and homemaker. I shall remember not to mess with you, lest I find myself trapped in a amazon box.

Oh, I'm sorry you had to deal with dead things, but it made a most entertaining blog entry, if that's any consolation. ;)

Hope the wee one is feeling better today!

Oh dear! I feel for you and would laugh at your telling of it but my heart is going out to you because of the 3 hours of upset baby. It never rains but pours when hubby is away. I once tried to get hubby to come home to get rid of mega wasp in the house but that was a no go too! What is up with the guys not turning around for very important things like that?! :)

Praying you have a better day today!

Yikes. Not what you want to deal with when Chad's out of town. I wondered what I heard last night - must have been you roaring!!! Kudos to you for "taking care of business!"

Okay, yes, it's long, but not boring. Quite amusing, actually. My dh thinks that I also have super olfactory powers! And those amazon.com boxes are very prevalent and useful around here, too.

Very very funny. I also smelled first, and then saw a dead mouse in the garage (of the cute variety), and had a similar encounter, beginning with staring and expecting it to move.
